There are 78 cards in a Tarot deck which are divided into 2 group, Major Arcana and Minor Arcana.
Major Arcana is composed of 22 cards numbered from zero to twenty-one. These cards depict the Fool's Journey.
Minor Arcana is composed of 56 cards. It is similar to ordinary playing card deck which contains 52 cards. Nevertheless, the difference is the playing cards consist of 4 suits which are Spades, Hearts, Clubs, and Diamonds
while Minor Arcana are comprised of Wands, Cups, Pentacles and Swords. It's also based on 4 elements. The basic meaning of each suit is:
1. Wands Suit: the suit of fire, concerns the cards of creation, education, and occupation.
2. Cups Suit: the suit of water, concerns the cards of love, emotion and relationship.
3. Pentacles Suit: the suit of earth, concerns the cards of money, prudence, and wealth.
4. Swords Suit: the suit of wind, concerns the cards of sorrow, ruin, and problem.
Each suit is comprised of 10 numeric cards and 4 court cards
